West Kalimantan – On Monday evening, May 19th, 2024, as dusk settled, guests streamed into the Governor's House at Pendopo, West Kalimantan, for a historic Gala Dinner. This event marked the first time the government had ever hosted such a dinner for guests attending the Pekan Gawai Dayak festival.

It brought together guests from neighboring Kalimantan Tengah province, as well as Malaysia and Brunei, for an evening of cultural exchange and camaraderie within the Governor's House.
